How do, just finished tidying up the boot floor and ready to attach rear valance.

Is there any point welding it on? I was debating whether to just pop rivet it on? Just seeing as its the first thing that rusts AND the rivets would be covered by the bumper anyway. One question is tho, the corner brackets? Are they needed as well?

Incase your probably wondering im sick of welding lol, just 1 more still and valance and its ready to be prepped for painting, oh and dont worry i wont be riveting the sill lol!

I'm guessing that Paul has either riveted or bolted his on, and I'm pretty sure the Curly ones are attached the same way.

can always drill the holes ready to rivit it on and do an mot (dont need a valance) and then put it on afterwords

wont make a difference on an mot as a rear valance is not strictly needed. doesnt matter if it is rusted beyond redemption so it wont matter how it is fixed inplace.
