I bought this last year. It was only torqued up for 20 minuets before i pulled the engine (long story, some may recall). The gasket is like new and the silicone has recovered to the point you would think it had never been fitted. The engine was never run.

Its a Bi-Metal gasket coated with a silicon compound and a seperate copper fire ring 'Wills Ring'. This is not the ones that Specialist components are selling currently. Look near the bottom of the page here http://www.ferriday.co.uk/copper/copper.shtml where you can clearly see two of these exacting gaskets in the picture.

I'll try and get a picture up later.

The thickness is 0.6mm and the fire ring is 73,5mm, so the volume is around 2.5cc.

This will no longer fit my engine due to the bore configuration

Hope it will be of use to some one else

£105 posted. Not cheap, but its like new, so in that sence, its a bargin. Just need some money to pay for the wiring loom and get this thing running sooner rather than later.

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be...
So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...
