Herefordshire

is it for a turbo or normal car?

If normal then yes

if turbo then no, i had this and could hit the limiter in fourth in under a 1/4mile 105mph flat out

go for a 3.2, or less

i think the 1000 may have a 3.1 in it, or maybe a 2.95

the metro turbo will have a 3.2

Id change it now, you'll only regret it if you dont

No they were to keep the revvs down. Metro Turbos were on the limit of det to keep milage good.

1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.

I think you may have it the wrong way round.. The lower the FD number the lower the rpm for a given speed. I have just moved from a 3.2 to a 2.95 and its great for a road car, I found even the 3.2 a bit frantic and first gear just spun the wheels.

We run 3.9's on the racing Metro's, but they made to rev abit higher than normal & quite low boost.. Totally shite for road use.
Again, thanks to mini13 for the calculations. Quite easy to mistake what diffs to run. *wink*
