As the title really, I am looking to build the bottom end for my new engine soon and was wondering what advice you guys would all have.

I found an old post of turbo daves about assembling an engine and found it to be informative.

I am mechanically compentent, however appreciate that any small mistake when building can result in a large expensive mess later on.

Thanks.

Bill Soilis' how to build a 1380 dvd is brilliant for step by step and moving visuals (rather than looking in a book)

the blue printing book has some good guideline info in it,

such as crank clarances should be 1-2% of the journel diameter
