Some Spanish bloke bought some wheels off me on ebay. I listed them as Pick Up Only, he asked if he could arrange a courier as he lives in Spain. Foolishly I said yes. He bid, won the wheels and paid so now the wheels are his and I have spent the money. This was 2 weeks ago. Now he sent this email

Hi! the withdrawal of wheel´s it impossible to realize, the addres you indicate me is incomplete and without your telephone number, the company of transport can not contact you and pick up the wheel´s. Beside whithout any information on a papper to put in the wheel´s (like the destination, the company do not realize the withdrawal) so i request the return of the amount or if you changes your mind indicate your telefhone to me so i can call you and indicate my information to put in the rims.
Without anything more in the matter, i wait for your e-mail or the return of the amount for paypal.

What do you guys think I should do?

I seriously doubt it!

you'l probably get neg feedback but just remind him that you no longer own the wheels, and that they are completely his responsibility

I've had problems arranging on line couriers , its true what he says that you have to fill in a form with address and contact phone no. for both the collection and delivery ,or else they won't collect . could be he's just a tosser though

i agreee with Benross. also it is his responsibility to make sure the item is suitable for his needs !!! what can he not ask questions through the facility provided on Ebay !!!!!! that negative feedback will get withdrawn !! just keep the wheels safe until its all sortid,as I am sure you dont want to get lifted suspicion of deception matey !!!!

Somewhere around Swindon

sad to say that if he paid though paypal he will get his money back, paypal always side with the buyer regardless of the circumstances

not always true, i bought an engine off ebay once. paid via paypal, picked it up and found it was knocking its tits off, big end was on its way out. asked the seller for a refund and even said i'd take the engine to him to prove it and he said no. filed a claim, took the car with the shitty engine in to a main dealer, for evidence that it was bollocks, they told paypal it was screwed, and still didn't get my money back. anyway back on topic it is his responsibility.

If you sent him a packagew of bricks, claiming it was the wheels, and he accepted / signed for it, then he won't get his money back.

Sorry, but if he paypalled you, and delivery hasn't been made, even if you said collection only, he will get a refund via paypal.

I suggest you try to work with him on a solution.

BAC!!!
He is now saying if I do not ship them to him he will report me to ebay and paypal even though I stated Pick up only and he hasnt paid for shipping.
I have suggested to him that I sell the wheels and give him the money.
Any one interested in these?

6" x 12" Carmona alloys. 4 off. Tyres shown are perished. The wheels have been resprayed in silver with clear lacquer and are in generally good condition, not perfect though. Looking for £52.89p which is what I owe the Spanish tosser.

Now it seems that sellers cant even leave bad feedback for buyers!!! Crazy!!

I had an idiot the other day who complained about everything, tried to say item woudln't work when it was fine etc etc. Wasn't happy that id posted it a day late.

Ebay can be great but can also be crap. Hope you get the situation sorted out.

I never sell to buyers overseas, not worth the hassle.

Nic, great idea.
Ive not had a problem on ebay yet and have 70 odd positive fedback points, so it shows that Im a descent bloke. It just takes one nob end to fuck it up for you. Lesson learnt.

Paul 1 feedback in the middle of 70 wouldnt put me off buying something. I wouldnt worry too much about the feedback bit, its the paypal taking the money from you bit. Email paypal about the dispute and they should fight your corner if your not in the wrong.

Cheers
