hi,
i received my turbo engine yesterday and have been having a close look at it
i can feel a slight amount of play in the turbine (in and out) it spins freely. should it have slight play? as i say, its slight, but it is there. if there should be none at all, i would like it rebuilt, does anybody know where i could get this done? i am in NW
also, the previous owner said he thinks it could be a hybrid but he is not sure, could anybody varify this? i will post pictures and information displayed on the turbo asap.
cheers

Mine gets in the way a bit, but only when it is up. If it is down it does not cause a problem.

What about up and down V?
Will the film of oil affect play?

in and out there should be vertually no play,

up and down (or round and round if you prefer lol) there will be some, IIRC a T2 has a spec of 0.2-0.3 mm or about 6-9 thou.
