double grey might be overkill, only use a single grey on mine running 15psi and same on keans running up to 20psi.

i have just killed a single grey with the back plate lugs machined off at 14 psi on my 1380

Mines single, altough i havent driven the car yet, but from the sounds of it yopu should be ok.
1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.

Nah it wont be, hopefully! Would it hurt putting a double grey on just for piece of mind? What are the disadvantages of overkilling the diaphragm to the spec then?

Load on the Crank Thrust Bearings is the main problem. If you can afford to go double go for it mate.
1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.

Single grey does seem fine for most folks, though i know mine wouldn't take more than 15psi, even with the lug heights machined. Been on the double grey for 2+ years now. |
