Fucking minis!!

I spent ages on a rewire on the mini, all looks great, ecu and data logger worked 1st time, the only think that does not work is the hazzard ligths and indicators. I'm sure it's something todo with the hazard light switch.

I've attached the diagram which came with the switch. What wires do you think should go to what pins??

At the moment, the indicators work only when the flasher module is by passed, and when you press the hazard lights, the switch flashes quickly but the lights don't.

Any advice would be great.

Cheers

Jimbo

Obviously can't be 100% sure on what loom etc you are using but I 'think' this should work for you...(make sure you have the correct fuses installed)

1. Indicator Flasher unit (LG/BR)
2. GND
3. N/A
4. Indicator switch (LG/BR)
5. Right Indicator (G/W)
6. Hazard Flasher unit (LG/P)
7. Left Indicator (G/R)

Haven't got a haynes manual to hand so can't check anything at the moment.

Thanks for this, I'll check how I have connected it up and get back to you.

The loom I have I made from scratch, this is the only problem I had.

I don't want to go hacking around too much, I've covered the whole loom in heatshrink as I found the cables I used (almost 90 differerent colours used) made it look a bit like a christmas tree
