i have a honda crx 1.6 16v with a snapped cambelt

ive been told there not interference fit is this true ? if so i should get away with just fitting a belt

most 16v's are not gonna let you get away with a snapped belt....

whack a belt on it and try it if it runs do a compression test.
if its already bent valves etc putiing a belt on it aint gonna do anymore damage. i work on toyota,s and most of them are safe engines when the belt snap, i know its not honda but still jap though *smiley*

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.
