Well the ultimate goal is to turbo one this one will be most likely Na
We have just bought a Heritage Shell from the good people in BMH which should be completed in the next run this shell will be built up using all my latest designs ect and used as a demo car we are running a mini challenge race series here in Ireland which has no restrictions on cc or any form of engine tuning other than it must be a steel shell mini with an A series cast iron block and a series gear box so some interesting times this winter our goal is to beet the current champions which is a Lotus

Not sure the gearox is that much of an issue really, when you've got the like of Miniwilliams putting over 300bhp through his. *wink*

Are you going to be using the specialist components conversion kit or going to have a go at making one yourself?

Where about does matt run his car we race ours at a local circuits here in Ireland and have been twisting the lay shafts of KAD SC dog kits in two With two of my N/A 5 Ports

I just striped a box this morning which has the Quaife dog set in it and it has managed to take all the teeth of second gear main shaft cog .

Hi Paul, that another one leaving the 5 port world *wink*

Yes to the above from hogster. I've had problem with braking teeth off the 3rd gear laygear, and i broke a main shaft the other day, due to over the years use we thing. But i'm very aware about not running grippy tyres for that very reason.

Well I’ve not just left the five port yet I love building 5 Port engines and the I really love watching them beet 16V'er :lol (enough of this ego tripping) but know it does look more and more like 8 port is the way forward, I under stand what you on about MiniWilliams 3rd gear seems like a strange one to go but with the kind of bananas your are running im not surprised.
we run 10X7 Dunlop Miglia Spec tires that’s soft on the back and a slightly harder compound on the front but the grip is amazing if you pushed hard enough you would have no problem putting one of these cars on its roof as a good pall Simon Evans found out
