Hi, I'm going to get my inlet maifold skimmed tomorrow because the suface is dented in places and it doesnt want to seal, will this be a problem when it comes to tightening? should it be exactly the same thickness as the exhaust manifold flanges? also is there any assembly paste I can use on the manifold gasket or should this be done dry only?

for things like manifolds and thermostat housings I have found that an old breezeblock and some water works well. On 28th Aug, 2011 Kean said:

As a bodger of some experience,I rather like your style minimagic -will remember this technique when I next have a warped cylinder head. |
