Reading the Vizard book (Tuning the A-series engine) he say that we can improve flow of the hiff 44 cutting one-half of the throttel shaft.... what we think?

This is a worth while mod. although it will make bigger gains on an NA motor.

might be worth fitting a dump valve if your weakening the butterfly shaft? "Turbo's make torque, and torque makes fun"

I think it will have less of an effect in a turbo application.

Getting a Bent Shaft usually occurs because of inexperience Nic!

didn't fancy cutting mine in half so just thinned down both halves. On 20th Oct, 2015 Tom Fenton said:
