Not sure what they look like but sound like some kind of collar? Could you drill the stops you have and put some grub screw in them to stop them moving?

i could but kad in there weird ways have put a split in them so you are apparently able to squeeze them over the arm then zip tie them in? apart from the zip ties/cable ties hit on the rack housing anyway, so there pretty rubbish from the word go? if there ally and an interference fit then i can also grub screw them if i need to? i am willing to pay. i just don't have a lathe, i can supply drawings etc....

Weird.

I use the KAD ones and find them ok. The cable tie is a bit in the way of the boot, bot once all back together it's not a problem.

Without the split i don't see how you could fit them anyway as you need to streach them around the rack. With alloy ones you'll need the rack in bits to get them on. More of a pain in the arse if you ask me.

easy take the control arms of, there are 2 types of rack apparently, when i first ordered the stops, i got the early type (apparently more common) and they didn't fit at all cause there to big, thus the stop was thinner, so you could bend it over the arm. if you make the bush thicker then its almost impossible to get them over the arm without miss shapping them, so i took the arm of to fit mine. Once on though they were still a little loose, and even when they were cable tied. So if i had ali ones, then i won't worry about them sliding down my shaft (as the actress said to the bishop?) i'm sure to an experienced machine operator its a 10 minute job?
