hi everyone im gonna set my basc timing tonight, just a bit confused as to where the rotor arm should be pointing when at tdc? when u r looking at dizzy cap fitted front on would no 1 be the top right lead then counter clockwise no 3 no4 no2? |

Yeah number one should be at about 1 O clock then anti-clockwise from there as you say.

thanks matty i just needed to make sure, luckily i was right umm need to stop doubting myself so much ! im doing the finger test so with my digit on spark plug one the pressure should be pushing it out the hole then when the piston is about to go back down that would be tdc? |

piston up and rockers slack on cylinder No.1
