I took my actuator off again yesterday and managed to lose the little 'C' shaped retaining clip that holds the arm to the pin on the wastegate flap thing.

Has anyone else done this, and if so where did you find a suitable replacement? I tried alexb's method, but he must have more better fabrication skills and more bendy fingers than me as i couldn't get it to work!

I lost the one of my GT17, it's currently held on with a bit of wire.

I think they are the same size as the C clips holding on the rods onto the door locks if you have a spare door kicking about

I've bought some weird clips that will hopefully do the job, but if not, what wire do you use?

Most of my stuff is either too thin, or far too thick.

I was looking for r clips today, but just lashed a random spring clip thing on. Seems to have held up so far though.

Will get some e or r clips ordered. :)
