I am going to head off to buy some metal to put the rest of my cage in. and think about fabricating some proper mounts for my buckets.

Would ally be ok or should I use some 3mm steel plate. I'm trying to loose weight at the moment, not add it!

I'd use steel, welded to the cage, I would not be very happy with an ally mount bolted through the floor
