Hi all

After a phone call to Slark about getting better running and fueling, the use of injectors came bout. Im running a Vmax super charger with a weber and was wondering if anyone else has done it and what is involved. Was looking at the megajolt thing but getting no where with it. Just thought using injectors would get the fuel in better/quicker over the route i have at the mo. Sorry its so vauge but i dont really know much about this kind of thing.

Thanks

Johnny

I got a T3 runnin with 3 injectors just above the butterfly of my intake, works wonders, no flat spots or any other probs. If u fit injectors u will need to control them with a fuel management system, but otherwise go for it, u got nothing to lose

I think ill be going down the Fuel Injected Route next year as a little side project. Itll have to be after to BMW Twink Cooper S Project i have in mind *Nerd*

There was an article in last months mini world regarding Fuel Injection. And all seemed pretty straight foward.

They were using two throttle bodies on what looked like split weber manifolds.

1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.

Twin bore thottle bodies onto a weber flange.

youll need a manegment system but apart from that its not too hard.

Is there really a lot of benefit to doing all this buggering about with the suck through, when surely there would not be a lot of gain compared to going to an injected and intercooled blow through set up, where the boost could be well and truley raised.

I'm not trying to be negative, but what would you seek to achieve by going injection?*happy*

Oh, personally I would stick the megajolt on to see if that improves things.
