Hiya lads,
need help with the totally standard brake setup on my daily 1000.I'm at my wits end and only massive self control is keeping me from just setting fire to the bloody car.

I replaced the whole front hubs with the hubs from my Yak (as the old ones were jammed solid),which had new balljoints and pads. These are drums by the way.
I bled the whole system and the brakes seem fine when I took it out for a run.I had a look at it the next morning and found that the seals on all 4 front wheel cylinders were fucked and had pissed brake fluid everywhere. So I changed all four wheel cylinders and also changed the back ones for good measure.
I also changed the left hand flexible pipe, both rear flexibles and some bits of copper pipe that looked questionable.
When I bled the brakes again 2 of the front wheel cylinders weeped fluid from the copper pipe fitting and the pedal remained spongy. So i changed the pipes between the wheel cylinders and fitted all new fittings.Bled them last night and they still weep.
Everything is fully tightened up,the pipes have new olive ends and the bleeders are not leaking at all.
To make matters worse it's only the pipes on the wheel cylinders which have the bleeders on them which are leaking. The others are fine.

Any ideas what it could be?I've wasted about a gallon of brake fluid bleeding and I'm very very pissed off about it.
I was thinking that maybe the fittings on the pipes between the wheel cylinders needed to be metric rather than imperial as the wheel cylinders are new.
Maybe the wheel cyls are different? As 2 of them are Mintex ones and 2 are LPR.

Sorry for the essay but I thought I'd put you in the picture properly.

Thanks a lot

Tom

also make sure that the flange that you put on the cooper pipe is the same as the ones on the pipe that came off. that could cause a problem.

Joey and Rob how do I do that?Do I count tpi or something?

James as far as I know it's the correct flange. An olive shaped flange but I'll take some pipes off another Mini and check to be sure

Thanks
