Was loitering in our transport department the other day and we have a Brian James tri axle trailer for collecting Vipers in.

I've seen a set of 225 55 10R but again speed rating was N which is about 80, still not bad if you are never taking it on a track.

Ive looked into using quad tyres, but theyre all N Rating like mokle says, 86mph tops. Does anyone actually know what happens when you exceed this speed?? Its a cataclismic failure or does the tyre just deflate?? 1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.

I imagine it would either rip apart or stretch itself off the rim.

to get the speed rating for a tyre it has to be run for 10 mins at that speed, exceeding the speed rating will overheat the tyre and cause it to de-laminate = brown trousers or death! |

they start to heat up and disintergrate when they go higher than the speed rating, my original mini tyres were only rated to somthing like 90mph, they started to bubble after awhile =/ Drives
