valve stem seals

Just took my head off because I blew my HG, anyway was checking the valves out as my car allways smokes on start-up, and the place that fitted my new guides etc must have fitted the stem seals wrong because they're on the exhaust valves and not the inlets... anyway does anyone know the mg-rover part number for the head gasket kit that has the payen 450 gasket and the valve stem seals?

DK451 is the part code for the proper payen head gasket set.

Think i might just put it in my sig i post it that many times, lol.

It's just that I have an xpart dealer near me so they deal in mg-rover part numbers

dk451 is the payen part number, no idea if the rover one is the same, very doubtful though. I just order mine from a local motor factors or my local engine recon place.

i couldn't get a dk451 when i tried a few weeks ago. Had to get a bk450 and a cheapy headgasket set for the rest. Wasn't sure if the dk451 was still available...

yer i ordered the bk450 today from minispares earlier with the genuine gaskets and seals £20 but i've found genuine stuff often pays for itself over time
