surrey / ewell area.

Anyone managed this yet with any success ? and if so how do u get over the problem of over boosting when coming offf throttle? ive seen a few installs with the turbo plenum and a dumpvalve , any ideas?

It should be easy.

A suitable compressor bypass is required.

202mph standing mile
speed didn't kill me, but taxation probably will

I've done it!
I managed to get the bini supercharger at the front of the engine by moving alternator and oil filter. An intercooler is fitted behind the zeemax bumper and I use a mg metro turbo carb to fuel it. And yes, you need a blow off valve. I fitted the BOV just before the carb and blow the air away. It's also possible to make a hose from the BOV to the inlet of the supercharger, this way you have less sound. It's clean air, and you don't have an airmass meter so you don't really need to recirculate it.
And believe me; it goes like hell!!!!! A standard new turbo clutch wasn't strong enough from 2000 rpm :)
Kind regards,
Remko

This is what i've done:
I created a bracket / outlet pipe welded to the old alternator bracket. The supercharger is as high as possible. I just can change the spark plugs. You need a flipfront, because you have to remove the streel strip that contains the bonnetlock. At the waterpump I made a new bracket that supports the supercharger and also makes it possible to lower the alternator and makes it possible to adjust the pulley outlining. To lower the alternator I moved the oil filter with custom brackets and hydraulic hoses to above the clutch housing. The outlet of the supercharges points 45 degreed down, the pipe goes straight down. At the bottom I have a custom intercooler (original alfa diesel) and the outlet of the intercooler goes besides the radiator en into the original turbo hiff44. I used a forge blow off valve. The engine is now outside the car, I destroyed my pistons with wrong ignition timing.... :( I'll make some better pictures when the engine is running again.
Next on todo list is running megasquirt to avoid destroyed pistons in the future.... First ignition and later on TBI.
The rest of the engine:
- 1293cc mg turbo
- ported head, big inlet valves, standard turbo exhaust valves, double valve springs, standard rockers, 8,5:1 compr ratio
- pipercross phase II turbo cam
- straight cut drop gears tranX
- non verto grey clutch with rally plate
- straight cut close ratio gearbox tranX
- cross pin diff tranX
- 3,21 (turbo) diff
- mg metro turbo fuel system

Just 0,5 bar / 7psi with standard BMW pulley. But straight from the moment you put the trottle and the blow off valve closes!
Another thing I forgot to mention; I used MPI pulleys, so there's only one belt.
