WOW, the first beam axle I've ever seen for a mini, that is in fact a beam axle. Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

Really? what about the one in the back of Vizard's book? he talks about them a fair bit. Also didn't Mr Austin used to have one back when he only had one engine in his Mini? The big down side is that you have to cut out the boot floor to run one. Isambard Kingdom Brunel said:
