i thought the xr2 calipers were different and couldnt be used on the mini, as they were for vented discs? |

you would find a whole car easier to trace, but a shame to pillage it for just the front brake assembly's

I spent ages contacting every scrappy in a 30 mile radius to get the carriers.

I know of one that was twoked and later dragged from the river Tyne it is in a scrap yard in North Shields but is a ball of moss now. Auto trader online would be best bet. if you can get a set you could make patterns from them and make a bomb !

i have located a mk1 fiesta which has grew into a field, so the carriers should be sorted, but i would say the calipers are past there best. Are the mk 3 fiesta calipers useable and what about ford ka ones? |

could you photograph the carriers ? and or possibly take some measurements of them i may be able to get some machined up, iam using metro 4 pots on turned down discs, if theyare poop the fezzy route may be an option as it has been tried and tested by me once and i know they work well !
