Like a knob jockey I've just managed to fuck up my mobile, the screen has bust so I can't do anything. I've swapped the SIM card into a spare phone, but I've now lost all my bloody numbers.

I've had a look for the lead that lets you plug it into your computer, but I've either lost it, or they didn't supply one.

Does anyone know whether a phone shop place will be able to recover the numbers if I take it in?

Other than that, those of you that I have numbers for can you send them me by PM, please....

I have a couple of data cables from previous phones.

It is/was a Samsung D900

However Orange are coming to fetch it and replace with a new one tomorrow afternoon so I need to act fast!

Might try down the local hookey/paki phone shop, see if they can get into it.

The numbers are not normally accessible via the data cable.

Saying that, those guys are bloomin crafty, so it's worth a try.

Panic over, found the data cable and software CD in a box, then by bending the phone screen i was able to see enough to make it link up with the PC! Rough but effective LOL!
All contacts now saved!

This included 35mins turning drawers upside down looking for the cable! LOL
