1275 engine with box and bare 1275 block

I have a 1275 engine and box that I bought from a guy called Chris Johns of Whitecross (THE mini guy) fully rebuilt about 2000 (fairly hard) miles

Since then I managed to put a valve through a piston, so that was changed and now the flywheel part of the crank may be damaged as the big bolt came loose and caused a bit of vibration denting to it.

So it is only good to someone that may want it for the block or box

Just want this one moved, so £20 or a crate of beer from who ever collects (Edinburgh)

My other block is bare apart from the crank is still on it. Good condition it came from a spi mini again want it moved as this is in my folks garage and they want the space back, £20 or crate of beer from the collector (Bonnybridge)

What box is it? Ie what final drive? And is it in good condition?

You know I knew someone was going to ask this, it all came off an MG Metro and was rebuilt at the same time as the block, sorry but I don't know what final drive would be, but with my 13" wheels I was topping out about 100-115 mph on the nurburgring and autobahn if that helps.

What about the is it in good condition bit? Looking for a box that it ready just to fit. I am a bit short on time to get one rebuilt.

It's still attached to the engine so I can't get a look at the gears, but i've not had any problem with it when I had it going, no strange noises or anything.

Where abouts are you, you're welcome to come have a look at it.

I am in Aberdeen I am pretty keen on it. I just need to try and arrange getting down for it. I didnt think you had split just wanted to make sure there were no funny noises / whines or crunching gears. I know its not alot of money to be picky about it is more the time it will take me to come and get it.
