To be honest by the time you've taken the exhaust you could of run the engine and cleared the exhaust of shite. A quick blast up the road will do the trick. *wink*

If its shite in the baffles of the silincer then you'd probably struggle to fush them out TBH? *oh well*

Is this a turbo?

A decent thrash around some country roads should do the trick. Get the exhaust nice and hot and the crap will just burn away.

As above, get the system stinking hot and any crap will burn away.

I would use some petrol to sort of loosen the debris first. Then go out and drive it hard!

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

block one end up with a potato and go to the chemist and get some caustic soda you will need ID to get this and questions will be asked ... what for etc .....

mix it and pour it in, leave for one hour flush well out
the exhaust will get very hot
be VERY carefull with eyes, skin as its mega abusive to your body, treat with the upmost respect!

bit of a mad idea, but wouldnt gently spraying water into the inlet steam clean the exhaust somewhat?

It's much better using petrol. LOADS. Water is a bit fag.

I used caustic soda on an old 2-stroke bike exhaust some years ago to good effect. It was much easier to handle though!

this is not achually that bad, the only problem is the exhuast rattles quite abit afterwords untill the sand is compleatly out but it ported the head very well, also now have a slight overbore. lots of power!
