A long shot but does anyone know what the actual physical difference is between tube made to BS 5409 Part 1 and BS 5409 Part 2 ???

The written difference is part 1 states "for use primarily in pneumatic installations" and part 2 states "for use primarily in the automobile industry" but I can't access the actual BSs without paying considerably more than the cost of the tube !!!

Several suppliers are quoting Part 1 as air or fuel anyway and I have used it myself in the past for fuel with no obvious problems. Part 2 is higher price (from those suppliers that specifically state Part 2) and I haven't yet found anywhere that sells it in short lengths.
