O/T Socks and the 80's

Don't ask me how but got onto the conversation of old school things and I mentioned about some fluorescent coloured socks that were the rage in the 80's. Most people ive spoken to seem to think im making it up but im sure im not! Lol

They were made of like a flannel/fury type material, and extra cool kids wore odd socks too!

Anyways can anyone remember these and has anyone got any pics, can't find any pics anywhere! Lol

no picks but yes, dayglo socks were all the rage - the 80's have a lot to answer for!

I hate luminous yellow socks, so they did exist.

I saw some neon pink tights in town today... it's not the same the second time round when you know better!

erm, yes - I had many pairs. Pink, green, yellow - and i did mix and match...

Had a GH shirt, but never liked them. Stuck with the happy mondays shirts instead. Ahhhhhhh, the stupidity of yoof

OMG ! Why didn't you post this about two weeks ago ? LOL.
I've just thrown a set of those flouresent green socks away, i was tidying out my room and found them at the back of the drawer.
Infact there's a possibility they've been bagged up in the garage to use as rags, i'm going to have to have a hunt & see if i can get photo evidence ..................
