this is what i have done so far...

-changed oil
-new water + coolent
-new clutch arm and release bearing
-exhaust rubbers (don't ask)

Any other things i've fogotten?

I also always have a check of valve clearances and spark plug condition/gaps. Do you need to raise up the front so it clears the rollers? My downpipe hits if i dont and always used to forget in my earlier tune ups.

agree with tone. Decent plugs are a must, although vmax will almost certainly have spares. Enjoy, let us know how you get on.

thanks guys, Will proably get stu @vmax to stick some new ones in.....there my running in plugs really, need some higher temp ones!

Carl if it breaks again i will most certainly be on the beer!

i think his rollers are pretty forgiving as they are in the groud rather than a ramp! If not i will be in trouble!!!! but he seemed ok as e was reversing it in the last time, it broke 4ft away from the rollers!!!! I will let you know how it goes!

Just to let you know it made 180bhp without nitrous, happy with that. Good torque to, and is still very drivable cause of the cam. had to raise the front up a good 2 inchs to get in the rollers mind. *smiley* bring on AVON....

Good work, that's a decent wedge of power. Should get some good times at avon if it's as light as it looks. :)

f you had to lift the front 2" then that would have fucked youre tracking, so 180 bananas is great

Paul

I seriously doubt it!

yeah, kind of knew that, we put it back afterwards, but the sills were on the garage floor so we had to do something! But i'm just hoping for some fairly quick times i'll be happy with mid 14's! *smiley* afterall it is a bit of fun!

great result that. I have always wondered about the geometry being upset due to jacking up the car for the rollers but thought the loss of any bhp may be accounted for in the transmission loss?
Must feel lively with such a light car:)

yes it does especially as it hasn't properly been set up yet, as in geometrically. The rear wheels are still towing out so its a bit twitchy! still see you all at avon!

Just been for another session after the fitment of a gt17 and new downpipe, got 195bhp with out gas at 18psi, so even happier now. Knocking on the door of 200bhp. with gas over 200bhp.

sweet!

Thats brilliant mate, am gathering everything is the same apart from the turbo. 15hp gain isnt to be moaned about.

Rick

ps I gather the 266 cam isnt the limiting factor then?
