Is it a new engine? Could just be it needs to be run in as they do tend to run a bit hotter when new. |

If the only change is the CR then retard the ignion on boost. If it's at 25 deg already I'd leave it where it is. Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

Knowing the engine (have you changed the head?) 7000rpm is a bit optermistic.

REMEMBER gary the ambient temps are ott at the mo when the suns out, this will compound things for you some what

I did consider that, but I've only run it in the evenings when it's been relatively cool. It's literally poodled 20 metres up the road and back, then left to run for a few mins while I've been adjusting the mixture.

dont forget to drill 6 x 5mm holes in the out side of the rim of the sat and see how it goes

the slipping belt will generate a fair bit of heat, give it a tweak "Turbo's make torque, and torque makes fun"

that advance below 2000 is way to much in the high vacuum areas..
