Well last few nights ive been having a fiddle. After a few set backs ive got it running very nicely. Instant starting and very smooth idle.

First problem was not setting the float height correctly! quickly taking the bottom off and a re-read of the instructions sorted that!

Then a NGK plug gave up.....

but apart from that its been ok. Just swap the driveshafts over to pot joints and get my gear selector bit from some nice person and ill be having a blast!

Even got it going backwards and forwards now *happy*

soon be on the road!! well racing spec anyway, just wire up the brake lights

thats the plan! Few odds and sods to do but its slowly getting there.

Going to get it up and running this year, engine mods over winter and prove them next year before i give it a rebuild and a paint job.
