Ummm bit stuck here part 2

Right just a thought if i took a plug out and tested its spark against the block how strong should said spark be ? like an electric lighter spark or like a spot weld spark because if its the latter then that would explain why the engine is not running when the pump turns on . because my spark is more like the first mentioned. just starting to think it could be the ign system somehow.
