Well, this has taken me a while to complete, wish i had taken some more pics before and after, had it MOT this weekend, failed on handbrake but chap let me sort while he mot'd another car, then it broke down two minutes away as the trigger wheel had come loose, the wife was really good and towed me home, now running it in until i can get it RR'd.

When i bought this it was a bit of a mess, so i have stripped everything down, subframes, suspension, interia and engine bay. Had o do a bit of welding on the floors, wheel arches, door supporting post, door steps and rear valance. The guy before me had put so much filla on the seem between the wing and scuttle panel, luckily for me their was no rust just a little under the window rubber which has been led filled.
I have managed over the years to collect everything i wanted to do so i would not have to buy it in bulk, so i have spread the cost, much easier on the pocket.
Most things i bought off flea bay, so i think i have saved a fortune in the long run, and can't say that i have bought anything that has not what it should have been. The most expensive was the engine, really took my chances with that, but once stripped down defenately worth it. It used to be used for grass racing, the engine is 1380, lightened and balance crank, polish and ported head with 37x31 valves, paul isky guides, 1:5 roller tip rockers running with a 45 webber. Cam is a VP3 just for that extra lift at the end. Jack knight 4 speec SCC with SC drops, quaife diff with 3:4 semi helical CP.
Running on a Megajolt
KAD quick shift,
Hardy spicer output shafts, LCB manifold with Playmini exhaust.
Cooper s brake setup with KAD calipers,
MB three way split rims
spax adjustable all round, adj track rod ends and adj bottom arms, adj rear camber brackets.
Complete respray which i am not particularlly happy with and the guy who did it is a complete numpty, so will need doing again in the near future.
Walnut dash with cream clocks
monaco interia

Last time i had it RR'd it was pulling 86bhp at wheels, so i am hoping that now i have made some alterations this will increase.

I bet my first wank came quicker than your first mini turbo

These new modern turbos with their quick spool up time, would make the competition harder.
