Right - I may go down in history for the stupidest first question on a Mini forum...but here goes (I wouldn't ask if it wasn't obvious and I have looked!).

Question: What is the specific torque figure to tighten wheel nuts to?

I'm sure a perfectly acceptable response would be "tight mate - so they don't #*!#ing fall off!" - but...

I'm being anal here and I'd like to find out. The Haynes bible says to change a wheel - tighten - and at next possible opportunity, tighten to the specific torque value - but it doesn't say what that is (I'm prettty sure I checked ALL the pages haha).

I didn't find anything from searching this forum and ran out of Google love pretty rapidly too.

Anyone know?

* If it's relevant I have 13" deep dish superlites

Cheers

Wow! That was quick.

Cheers dude.

Mind if I ask where you found that - or do you just know the figure?

Fair enough - I must not have looked as hard as I thought - certainly wasn't in any places that were obvious to me. Never mind.

Thanks again. Time to try the new torque wrench! :)
