I used to run 80/120's on my golf with no promlems with the stanard loom.

i hear verry good things about phillips vision plus i think they are called, not heard a bad thing about them.

I use H4 100/120 on all my cars, it gives not double the light but it makes a huge difference.

personaly id whack a relay in the lighting circuit if you dont have one(believe later mini looms did) as iv burnt thro to many headlight switches with the normal lights. turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)

Yep i agree. I have melted the switch with just the normal 55w bulbs. I got some of those 50% brighter jobbies (zennon or something) for the lotus and was very impressed with the difference. http://www.twin-turbo.co.uk

Got some of the 'white' lights from Demon Tweeks. More expensive than the Xenon ones, but WOW!!!!

I found with a relay and a decent earth mine are loads brighter than while relieing on the pink relay

yup and the upside is power direct from the battery, altenator connection on the starter

I'm using 100 Watt Rally bulbs (they look like blue light from some angles), they are very bright. I don't have any relays, just standard wiring loom and I haven't had any electrical problems. |

try hooking them direct to the main power lead and watch them get brighter |
