Force Racing ICT Dept Manager Miglia Turbo Am frum Yokshyer tha noes!

Right then my pedigree chums, its another (it wont start thread) ive been trying to fire the car over the last few days but to no avail, had no spark turned out to be bad points, had no fuel turned out id piped the bloody regulator in backwars ( *Jester* however, i know im getting fuel as my plugs are wet, the left 2 are slightly sutty so they are sparking, the right 2 arent, so i thinking either the timing 180deg out or, i have the leads on wrong.

Is this the correct order?

Also all i keep getting is a very deep boom up the exhaust, im assuming this is just unburnt fuel being dumped.

The 3 is the bottom left lug, is obscured by the TM Logo

Cheers

leeds/wakefield.

mike, when no 1 piston is at tdc on compression, the rotor arm will be pointing at no1 cyl, look in the cap and se if it corresponds to any one of the contacts , by the look of the cap ,it looks like it shoud sit with the leeds pointing upwards, as a guide, this would put no1 contact at approximatly the 2 o'clock position and pointing at no 1 cyl.

On it's firing stroke is the key here. TDC & firing stroke.

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!

Near Lincoln

because you can move it a good way round to see if your a long way out or in the ball park. you can swing a long way you know *smiley* depends on the length of your leads mind.

But yeah, rocker off, get it on compression to to TDC on no.1 then just work it from there.

Make note of the direction of rotation of the rotor arm *wink*

1342 anti clockwise. all depends on where you have number one.

they look right though if you have 1 in the right place.

An a series will normal start and noticeably fire on 2 cylinders so i'm guessing your not right at all.
