I've finally cracked and decided to move on from the A Series.

Embrionic project as yet. Think mid-engined, spaceframe, flip body. Something like Stuart Meads motor.

What's that Paul ?
I see a short 90 v6, so likely an odd firing. One cam, so 12v.
Why bother yourself with such a complex thing ? A modern jap 2L 4cyl would certainly perform better ?

It's a very modern Nissan V6.

Same bottom end as the 300ZX but with the more robust 12v heads/cams. All the aftermarket twin turbo cranks, rods, pistons etc fit.

Potentially more horpsepower than I will ever to able to use.

I plan to use the Autobox as it will be able to change gear quicker and more consistantly than my driver. The top drag cars use auto boxes.

Biggest problem could be the gearbox ECU.

An old mate of mine uses the exact same setup in his car, so I have some experienced help to guide me.

Must go, there are men in white coats at the door.

And the engine ECU ? Is the engine odd firing ? Does MS support odd-firing ?

It's 60 degree even fire - no problem.

I'm guessing this is still sat in the corner of the workshop waiting for the day when it will roar into life?

ha ha , yes it is still where it was when I took the photo, but plans change as I'm sure that you are aware.

is the gearbox strong enough though??

i mean a twin turbo v6 3 litre should be putting out a good solid 350 hp to 400hp on 15psi

why not go front engine rearwheel drive and use a american box like a th350 or a 727 tourqflyte????
