Hi, just finished reassembling the engine after it blew it's head gasket, but now when im cranking it with the ht leads off it won't build oil pressure, any idea's why this would be? the oil level is fine and i've left it cranking long enough but still nothing, it's only been stood for a couple of week's so im confused,

Cheers, Kav

Sound like the pump is dry / air locked. Try removing the oil pressure relief valve and pour in some oil (quite a lot ) if you can then put the valve back in and crank it over. Hey presto (hopefuly)

Try taking the plugs out also, you'll be able to crank the engine alot faster.

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

failing that remove the banjo union from the block the pipe what goes to the oil filter housing and pour oil in there in the block
reconnect pipe
place in 2nd gear and push back in reverse a few yards
then try in on the starter
