Fuel pump and regulator

Okay as Im hopefully going to be receiving my turbo set up in a couple of weeks i need to start thinking of wht else i'll need.

I don't have a fuel pump and regulator, and my question is, do i have to order one from a mini-specific retailer (avonbar for e.g) or can i use ANY electric fuel pump and regulator (assuming universal ones exist). What about using one from another car?

I know a guy who works with hi-spec jap cars and he should have some good bits that I can get very cheap if it'll work...

(the fuel pump would go in the boot I would assume, and I'd be sure to tap a return feed to the fuel tank)

im using a cavalier sri pump (located under the rear bumper on the drivers side) and the regulator from minispares cos it was cheapest there
