it sounds as though its not fitted properly, i never had a problem with mine, are you sure you gear stick is all bolted in corectly? Drives

Does the link pipe have a bend in it to take it past the selector box?

some people accidentally fit the link pipe the wrong way so the 'kink' is the wrong end? maybe try swapping it round? "Turbo's make torque, and torque makes fun"

Also how the down pipe is clamped to the turbo can effect it!

i have similar problem! but non turbo, i intend to loosen all connections, tail-pipe to head face and 'jiggle' it to clear then tighten everythink..
