it was a top weekend, managaed a first run of 15.7 on saturday, pile of shit!!!! So i sweard and cursed a bit and then realised i'd spun my timing sprocket on the end of my bottom pully (drrr wondered why there was no power) then started today with a 14.8 and at 3.58pm (58 minutes after timing had closed) ran a 13.5! top weekend all the same!!! First off on Saturday they came to see us as they thought we were on slicks (we were not, they are road legal DOT marked tyres)

was it just me or did the mini-williams run a low/mid 13's? in full road trim at 700kgs (i think thats what i have seen written) if so...strip the bastard out for next year man!!!! |

Rxunning on a proper drag strip is interesting, nothing like the smooth concrete that i'm used too, great lerning epereince, and rather humbling! .. managed 2 13.3's@114mph but was pretty consistant with 13.5's on the sunday. good chatting to you on the sat night and sunday, interesting to see the engine i didnt come over chat with u guys but i did have a nose about at some stages, everything seeming rather nice too David. |

well sorry i couldnt be there but all i can say is well done to all, but i did here that mini willy did a 116 mph pass and t3tone done a 107 pass all in road trim not sure on times but i think both in the mid 13's always looking for them bigger bunches of bannanas |

had a great weekend, one or two bears on the saturday night (apologies to anyone i talked bollox to continually - turbo phil springs to mind!) done a few runs on the sunday and was pretty happy with the times, just getting used to the best ways to launch etc, let nic have a run in it only to beat my best by 0.2 seconds on the first time he has ever driven it! nicely sunburnt and very tired, just leaving the site to go home and......

Well done to all the fellas who did good runs! Shame about the weather saturday but hey ho! Oh and a thanks to carl for lending me his blow torch and for the free beer 1/4 Mile 14.3secs 96Mph Terminal 10psi of boost.
