yay, ive just escaped from the garage briefly to inform you all that its now mostly connected up and i can turn it over on the key, i have oil pressure and a spark

im just about to connect up the fuel pump, and with anyluck i may be able to get it started tonight!!

(however its now 9.45 and theres no exhaust on it, but im sure the neiughbours will be just as happy as i am!!)

err no!
its back firing but not starting, i think i have the plug leads set up wrong

theres an oil leak too! i think my dodgy homemade oil drain pipe could be the cause, and my coil seems to have got a bit hot,
a loud popping sound happened im worried it could be the rev counter
plus ive got a puncture in my tyre (bear in mind its furthest journey this year has been 10m)

anticlockwise, 1342 *smiley* then just tweak that dizzy!

the popping is most likely the ignition mdule. mine pops when i take the wire to the coil on and off. works fine though. think it depends where about you dizzy stops.
