The high pressure fuel pumps seem to seize when stored for a longer periode. It can be repaired.
So, bend away the folded aluminium and gently pull out the internals, take it all apart whilst memorizing the sequence.
Prob. you will find some old fuelgum in the pump section, clean it, assemble it in the same way but backwards.
Be aware that all seals are in and that they are up for the job.
Today I did mine this way and it is now fully operational. just do it, it was not working anyway, nothing to loose

Sold the turbo and seeing what the C20XE can do!
