Hi guys and girls.

It is with great regret that im considering the sale of my little 'tro.

Basically now that i have a house im having to reduce my fleet down to the more sensible cars and while the metro would surely make a good daily driver, it would be a shame to have to stick an extra 320 miles on it every week.

If you havent already seen the car heres a few pics and a brief spec:

new clutch and bell housing
new clutch cable
in car adjustable boost controller
boost gauge
7x13 ultralite alloys
Full maniflow exhaust
replacement carb
Avonbar intercooler
Avonbar plenum
Avonbar high boost needle
metro turbo challenge carb float extension

11 months mot and 5 months tax

Rust free shell that has NEVER seen a welder!!!

Carrier bag (literally) of history from new including some of the paperwork for the new engine and box it had fitted.

Original sunroof bag

original wheels if you would prefer them to the 7x13s

Here it is with the original wheels

and with the 7x13s

Ive done around 1300 miles in it over the last 5 weeks and have been to santa pod and back with no problems.

Very quick little car, on the way to santa pod i completely wasted a friend in his 2.0 celica.

The bad points i hear you cry?

1. paint has been polished down to the factory primer on the roof. only around an inch long so i dont polish that bit any more.
2. small crack in paint around an inch long just under the off side rear window.
3. needs a steering column cowling from where it nearly got stolen 2 years ago and the bit of trim the rear off side belt goes through.

Thats all!

As for a price.... I dont think £1,500 is out of the way is it?

Ok so the first viewer has just been. Went for a test drive and i believe he was happy with it. Agreed a price and handed over cash but then a hose clamp started weeping around 10 drips of coolant onto the floor which put the poor lad off :(
Fixed instantly but i think paranoia had kicked in by this point so i gave him his cash back and its still here for sale at the moment.
I'm sure Luke will be able to confirm that its a nice straight rot free car that drives as it should. It was just a pity about the hose clamp (cheap ford one i might add!).

Nice meeting you anyway Luke and sorry you came all that way to leave empty handed dude.

All the best

Ross :)
