hiya peeps, im not sure where to put my pressure take off for my megajolt..... done a search and i have the impression most people take theirs off the inlet manifold.... can you also take it off the plenum chamber or would the manifold be better???

The MAP sensor is used to measure load on the engine so you need it downstream of the butterfly. I imagine it would basically just measure boost if it was upstream of the butterfly

If you run the origional SU, could it just go to the nipple on the carb that the vacume advance origionally connects to?

The only thing to watch out for is that wherever you put the tapping receives both vacuum and pressure. There is a one way valve built into the standard metro turbo manifold above where the servo take off is, so this for example is not suitable.
