Being Relitivly new to turboing minis im currently makeing choices at to my build.

one of the terms ive heard thrown about is the group a head gasket.

although ive never seen one of these gaskets i can only assume that its got a deeper fire ring to stop cross chamber fireing caused by the higher dynamic compression ratio while on boost.

is that somewhere near the truth or am i being clueless again?

thanks

Sam

btw i did have use the search function.

You're about right.

but they limit the amount you can bore the engine and the BK450 head gasket has proven to be able to withstand more than enough.

So its an un needed precaution, and a 450 is alot cheaper.

Pretty much OTT, as Wil says the BK450 is more than man enough.
