Hi all, just a quick question as i dont have Vizards book to hand, can i use a 1380 offset block with standard internals? Crank etc.

Also what are the benefits of the offset block?

edit: ok from what i just read all 1380 blocks should be offset?? correct?

cheers. :)

yes.

A 1380 doesn't have to be offset, but if ever going to 1400, then the 1380 bore will have to be offset to clean the bore with a 1400. Makes sense? :)

Mine gets in the way a bit, but only when it is up. If it is down it does not cause a problem.
