Now I've got the shell completed and painted, I'm moving onto the next stage. I want to fit electric windows but, as the engine build is going to be expensive and I don't want to cut corners on it, I want to save money elsewhere instead.

The W&P kit looks good but not the price. Has anyone used/ adapted any other manufacturers kit to fit? I remember looking years ago at some kit in an old Renault 11 which I thought might work but a) never tried it and b) haven't seen one for years now

cheers

Rob

Do you still want flat door cards?

Ive seen a conversion which joins an electric window motor to the original winder but then has a cover on the door card to hide it.

Ill see if i can find it.

I'm looking to keep the door cards flat so the universal ones are no good.

Neither will be the one i saw, supposedly its using the motor from a vectra but cant find the topic anymore.

Also ive got electric windows in mine, wouldnt really recommend them, my passenger one is rubbish.
