Going travelling and want to take some music..

Do I get and new ipod or similar or get a 4G memory card for my phone.

Not realy my bag all this tech stuff

get an iphone and it'll do both.

Well that card is cheap, it's a good choice. I'd prefer to have a small ipod, for battery life between charges.

iPhone's great, I love it so much. But, I'd worry about dropping it travelling and it's also expensive, I'd worry about it getting nicked too.

I worry about getting mine taken in Basingstoke, although, my fault for going to Basingstoke! lol

i'd go for a seperate tiny mp3 player, that way you aren't always raping your phones battery.

i got the iphone n its great - made sure i got seperate insurance on it though just in case. Only problem is the camera quality - but I always saw it as a bit of a gimmick on phones anyway

I always see my phone mp3 player as a backup. I did originally use it all the time, but as mentioned it kills the battery just when you need to make a call. A simple Zen stone plus and your normal phone is an option. Unless you want to spend propper money on an mp3 player.

buy a cheap chinky ipod shuffle rip off off ebay for like, £5, last ok and work fine

lol i forgot to mention i also have a proper 160gig ipod thats pretty much full

100% mp3 player and phone. if your travelling the airlines wont like your phone as an mp3. plus its 2 options you have for juice etc

iPhone and iPod here.

The intention was to get rid of the pod, but it's better to have them separate.

Go for a cheapo mp3.
