I realised the other day during the dry build that when checking the torque wrench against another for accuracy that I had misread the scale by 10 lbft and torqued them to 45 rather then the specifed 35 lbft.

Will this have streched them past there elastic limit or should they be safe, they still measure up to before they were torqued for the first day so I guess they havent streched, the threads are fine.

I just thought I'd check as realistically the loads they will see during use will be massively higher. They are ARP bolts.

Mitsi Evo 7, 911, Cossie. & all the chavs ...... won no problem

as you say it they are the same length and the threads on the nuts and the bolts ...... all will be well
